AI, or artificial intelligence, is the use of computer systems to perform tasks that usually need human thinking, such as recognizing patterns, answering questions, or helping people make decisions. That may sound complex, but many roles connected to AI do not start with coding. In this session, we will break down what AI really means, the types of entry points available, and how beginners can start learning step by step without feeling overwhelmed.
This webinar is built for people starting from zero prior knowledge. You will learn what AI is, where it is used in everyday life and work, and what kinds of jobs support AI projects. We will also look at how military experience can translate into valuable strengths in AI-related careers, including problem solving, teamwork, planning, communication, discipline, and decision-making under pressure. Our goal is to help you see that your experience already gives you a strong foundation.
During the session, we will cover realistic pathways into AI for non-coders. That includes beginner learning routes, no-code AI tools, simple project ideas, and how to talk about your transferable skills when exploring new career options. We will also discuss common fears, such as feeling too late to start, not being technical enough, or not knowing which role to aim for first.
This event is for complete beginners. If you are currently serving, transitioning out of service, recently retired, or supporting someone making that move, you are welcome to attend. You do not need any prior knowledge of AI, coding, mathematics, or technology. If you are curious about new opportunities and want a clear starting point, this session is for you.
To prepare, all you need is a laptop, internet access, and curiosity. You do not need to install any software or study anything in advance.
